Test and show off your latest posting templates here! You can ask for others' opinions and receive tips on how to make your templates better. If you need any help with creating a template, this is the place to post!
What's a Posting Template?
A posting template is, as its name suggests, a template for posts. You can set up a posting template to quickly use a pre-arranged font without going through the trouble of retyping it every time. It can save you a lot of trouble if you have a complicated font, and it's quicker than copypasting it each time.
Remember that posting templates use cookies to store information, so if you're using a different computer, or of you clear your cookie data, you will lose the templates you had stored until you remake them.
Please note that you must have JavaScript enabled on your browser to use Posting Templates.
Creating a Posting Template
Go to your Profile, then click on Edit Profile. Scroll down, and below the Account Information options, you should see a header that says Posting Templates. Click on Create, then enter a name for your template (I use my cats' names, but you can use whatever you want). Enter your template (coding for fonts, colors, images, etc.) into the text area, then save your profile. Congratulations on your new posting template!
At any time, you can edit the template you've created, by going to edit your profile and selecting the template you'd like to edit from the drop-down menu within the Posting Templates category. Simply edit the text you've entered into the text area, then save your profile.
To delete a template, go to edit your profile and select the template you'd like to delete from the drop-down menu, located in the Posting Templates category. Simply click the Delete button, confirm your decision, and voila! It's gone. You can also clear all of your templates by clearing your cookies, but I would not recommend doing so. Just keep in mind that you should save your templates somewhere before clearing your cookies.
