"An omen?" Ravenflight gasped, only barely able to hear the she-cat's voice. "Nothing bad, I hope. Has anything gone wrong with any of the Clans?" Ravenflight glanced at Silvermist, Leopardpelt, Lunarwind, and Ashfur, the medicine cats more senior then him. "No matter," Ravenflight went on. "If something is wrong, StarClan would tell us. We must have faith!" For a younger tom, he kept his faith and held his head high, as he trekked up the difficult, foggy, rocky terain. "Look!" he purred, flicking his jet-black ear towards a large rock structure. "I think we're here!" Thank StarClan, too! I'd be awful upset if something happened to the apprentices, before even seeing the Moonpeak for the first time! Plus, I wouldn't want to lose the others either.[/size]

Lunarwind didn't see the shooting star directly, but caught it out of the corner of her eye. She gasped, breathing in the icy cold air, and felt suddenly winded. A few tail-lengths from the rock she had chose to sleep on, she thought she detected movement, but it turned out to be one of the other cats. I'm just being paranoid. And at that, Lunarwind tilted her head up to the sky and slowly closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep. She would soon get an answer, but it was not the answer she was looking for.

Leopardpelt was almost on the peak when he realized this was Mudpaw's first time at the Moonpeak he carefully padded back down. "Sorry, I should have thought of you. It won't always be like this, it'll get easier, and it'll be a lot more clear." he said. He signaled with his tail to follow him, and began to climb up with the others.

Applepaw;;
Applepaw huffed as her paws kept almost slipping out from beneath her. She squinted through the fog, and continued walking towards the cat shapes in front of her. She heard a gasp, and saw Lunarwind and Ashfur looking at the sky. Applepaw looked up, but saw nothing. She could barely hear the rest of the group, but she didn't feel like asking what had happened. Tiredness was engulfing her, and she was trying her hardest not to let it show. Applepaw finally caught up to the rest of the cats and saw Lunarwind already sleeping on a rock. She made her way through and plopped onto a rock across from Lunarwind. She lay down and quickly fell into a deep sleep, unsure of what she would see.

"Well, that's a relief," Mudpaw replied to Leopardpelt, "I was almost into believing it's always like this!" Unless something is wrong within StarClan... he thought, making his way to the peak.

Lunarwind opened her eyes on darkness. She could feel a chill wind blowing, and she could hear faint, ominous whispers drifting in the breeze. They were harshly voiced but soft, and their messages hung just out of reach.
The silver she-cat scanned her deep purple gaze around the premises, but she detected no movement. The only thing she could her besides the faint whispering was the sound of her rapid heartbeat, so loud that she was sure whoever was whispering could hear it. And then she saw a faint light up ahead. Lunarwind began to follow it, mystified. It led her to the edge of StarClan's territory. But something was different about it. Instead of the calming, vivid colors, there was a clash of dark and light colors. The trees looked as if their leaves were engulfed in jet-black shadows, and the surrounding grass was withered away, brown and dead. A disappointing mist hung low on the ground, and the stars up in the sky seemed ever so distant. They didn't move. And there was no moon.
Lunarwind tried to call out, but her voice sounded hoarse and almost muted, yet it echoed. The mist began to rise again, and the whispers grew louder, but still painfully out of reach. The last thing she saw as the colors faded from her dream were stunningly sharp eyes, but the color was muted, although Lunarwind still saw them as familiar somehow. As the dream faded, her paws were still petrified on the withered grass, now pitch-black, and a hostile voice whispered in her ear. "Traitor."

When Mudpaw finally reached the peak, he did as the rest did. He laid down on the rock, and sleep overtook him. When he open his eyes, he sees a dark, unmoving forest, looking almost as it went on forever. There was a mist hanging, and sounding as if faint whispers were surrounding him, but out of reach. Aren't there supposed to be StarClan warriors here, he asked himself, They could be hiding... but why would they hide? He saw a faint light in the distance, Maybe that light is the answer...He followed the light, being somewhat aware of his surroundings... the trees, the mist, the shadows, the whispers, and the faint light he was following. Almost suddenly, we felt as though he was being followed. "Who's... there," he tried asked, it was like he was mute, yet it echoed off the trees. Shortly after, the forest began to fade, now going into complete darkness, only to hear one whispered word: "Traitor..."

((OOC: On FF, too lazy too make a Ravenflight template for here, too.))
Ravenflight padded up the slope. The dark, stone cave was drawing nearer, and now, he was inside. The place was pitch black, like the time when he came here with Seastar-Seaside, then- to receive his nine lives.
It's not as beautiful, covered in fog. Oh well, at least we all got here in once piece. He touched his nose the rock, and fell into darkness.
This can't be StarClan! It's so... eerie. He looked around. The trees were dead, like those in leaf-bare and the sky remained a twilight. The air was thick, and a foggy mist clung tightly to it.
"Traitor..." came the ominous whisper. Ravenflight shook his head. This is not StarClan... let me wake up! No avail. He was still trapped. The forest around his was dense and dark, danger lurking in the shadows... which were everywhere.

[OOC: ...PRETEND I WAS HERE THE WHOLE TIME. Also, will make a snazzy banner like ya'll later. xD Back IC:]
Heatherdust touched her nose to the cool rock, closed her eyes, and fell into her dream.
A dark, misty clearing came into sharp focus, and she stiffened, startled by the immediate and intense hostility she felt. This is not StarClan, she thought in alarm. This is not StarClan as I know it...
It seemed as if loathing eyes were staring at her from behind every dead tree, from behind every blade of grass; though she could see no cat. A cold wind stirred the browned grass and the air hung heavy with fog, half-choking Heatherdust every time she tried to take a breath. She coughed and shivered. It was so cold, so cold; colder than the coldest leafbare...
Whispers began suddenly, echoing faintly in the darkness. Her pelt puffed up and she stared out into the fog. A low, frigid hiss came out of the shadows from nowhere and yet from everywhere at once. Every hair on Heatherdust's pelt stood on end.
"Traitor."

Watching Mudpaw close his eyes, Leopardpelt lay down carefully on the peak.
Hearing wind, he slowly opened his eyes. He immediately knew something was wrong. It wasn't StarClan's territory he was in. It wasn't the Dark Forest, either.
Wind blew harshly on Leopardpelt's pelt as he started to run across the unfamiliar woods. Eyes seemed to stare at him from far away. The air was thin, and Leopardpelt started to choke on it.
Looking up, there was no light in the sky, no shining stars, no glowing moon. He felt as if the wind was hissing at him, the grass clawing at his paws.
And he heard an ominous whisper...
"Traitor."

Lunarwind gasped, breathing in the thin air. The world began to spiral, yet she was trapped here, surrounded by emptiness, and yet it seemed there were hostile eyes surrounding her, their gaze burning their way through her fur. She was paralyzed with what she took to be fear as the world spun around her at a dizzying pace. The scenery blurred, yet she couldn't wake up. She stood there for what could have been several seasons or a single heartbeat. Then.. she ran. Ran through the forest on winged paws. Fled. For all her many seasons, she never thought that she would become that which she hated so much.. a traitor.
Though she was running faster and faster, the trees whisking by, the world of twilight becoming dimmer and dimmer, her heart began to beat slower and slower. She ran until she was engulfed in complete darkness, then she collapsed. But she didn't land on the dry, spiky grass. She felt as if she were falling and falling..
Then she woke up with a gasp. Her heart was beating at a rapid pace, and her breath came swift and shallow. Her mouth was dry, her scents muted, but her vision was slowly clearing. It seemed as though she was the first to wake from her dream. Or rather, nightmare.

Mudpaw was now in the darkness... trapped, unable to breathe, unable to see, not even feeling his own paws or the tip of his tail. He still felt like he was being watched, but he could do nothing. He tried to walk, then run, but it was like going nowhere. After he had stopped for a moment's rest, he had the sensation of falling, falling but never stopping, never hitting the ground. Dizziness over took him. He woke up gasping for air, taking in and out deep breaths. Most of the others were still asleep, except for Lunarwind.

Lunarwind was still on the ground, breathing more heavily now. She looked up for a moment, and spotted Mudpaw's brown pelt among the rocks. She was tempted to spill everything about her dream to the young apprentice, but that was strictly forbidden. After all, he was a cat from another clan, and LavaClan at that! She couldn't afford to give a hostile clan that her own clan was at war with any information, and especially not a dream at Moonpeak! Medicine cats were forbidden to speak of their dreams to any other cat.
But what if this was more important than that rule? What if she had to break the Warrior Code in order to save the clan she loved? She decided it wasn't worth it yet, at least; she'd wait until she had another dream from StarClan before trying to figure out what was going on. But she could try to get the young apprentice to talk about his dream. It wasn't against the Warrior Code.. at least, she didn't think it was.
The silver she-cat leaped up onto the rock where Mudpaw had just awakened. Her voice much like Ashfur's earlier that night, smooth and sweet as honey and trying not to sound the least bit suspicious, she meowed, "So, how did the ceremony go? Did StarClan accept you as a medicine cat apprentice?"

Ravenflight blinked open his black eyelids. That wasn't StarClan, and I doubt that was the dark forest. Where...? The raven-black tom looked around. "How did your ceremony go, Mudpaw?" Ravenflight asked, as casually as possible. He didn't want the young tom to think he was worried. Should I tell them? No! I can't, you're not supposed to. But, I can't endanger any Clans...

Heatherdust shrank in upon herself as the voices crashed down on her. It was like endless judgement, like StarClan was telling her what she had been afraid of all along. She had failed. Failed, failed, and she was a disgrace to her clan. The whispers fueled her thoughts, and they grew louder as her inner turmoil increased. She covered her ears with her paws and felt her blood pounding against her pelt. Everything was spiraling down, down; down she fell, she could feel herself falling. Traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor...
Traitor!
She awoke suddenly, eyes closed. Her heart was beating fast against her chest, and she forced herself to calm down, slowing her racing thoughts. That was not StarClan, she thought firmly. That was not their will.
Heatherdust opened her eyes, feeling somewhat at peace though she was still uneasy. She sat up and groomed her chest for a moment to give her thoughts more time to settle. She glanced up and saw that Lunarwind and Ravenflight had awoken, as had Mudpaw. All three looked ruffled, especially the young apprentice. Heatherdust realized with a pang that it had been his first visit to StarClan...if he had gotten there at all.
"I hope that your ceremony went well, Mudpaw," she mewed comfortingly. "StarClan looks favorably down upon you, I am sure." She tried her best to reassure the spooked young cat. She made eye contact with Ravenflight and exchanged a knowing glance with him. When they returned to camp, they would have much to talk about.
